Clare Henney: Nose Shaper Review

Gullible and guinea pig(ish) me decided to give this product a try:
It’s a nose shaper that will supposedly help you make your nose look better.  With my blah nose and my envy for the nose of Korean actress Yoon Eun Hye, I decided to give it a try. I got mine from Multiply and it only cost me P50.00 (as opposed to a brand called Nasofix which claims to do the same thing at P1,000.00). There are no instructions included with the product (unless you count the drawings and the Asian character details in the packaging) so I pretty much had to just follow the photo and put it on my nose. To be honest, I don’t know how in the world it can help you make your nose look better if it means that you will be unable to breathe in the process.  It literally closed off my nostrils and left marks on my nose after the 10 minutes that you need to leave it on.  Needless to say I haven’t done this daily and I don’t plan on using it again after my first try.  It just feels weird. According to some websites these things help you reshape your nose (being that the nasal cartilage is made of collagen and is “highly reshapable” — or so one site said).  I really don’t see how that can happen and as open as I am about trying it, I don’t think I’d want to breathe through my mouth for ten minutes a day — well, that and looking like a person who will go swimming for the first time and is afraid of getting water in her nose anyway. Has anyone out there tried this and got good results?  I mean, real, non-spam or paid blogger type results? *Sigh*  If only I could afford Vicky Belo’s services.
